About Mohanad
My dear friend Mohanad is a talented artist from Gaza, Palestine. He’s a dancer, choreographer, and the visionary founder of Hai Contemporary Arts Team. He founded the first contemporary dance hall in Gaza. Mohanad has lost his home, his belongings, and his sense of security, leaving him with nothing but his body and his unwavering determination for a better future.
About the fundraiser
This fundraiser was created as a response to the ongoing genocide in Palestine. Mohanad is a dear friend of mine who inspires me with his determination to his craft, love for his homeland and the way he sees the world. What better way to raise funds for him than by sharing these beautiful images of nature. I thought about many ways of sharing these via prints and other merchandise but I want to make this collection as accessible as possible. The images will be available as high resolution digital downloads for personal use. You can display them on digital screens or print them any size you'd like. If you're a creative feel free to edit the images as you'd like. Individual images are $5 and the full series is $40.
About the art
This art collection will be growing every month. I started with 8 of my favorite images taken during times of deep reflection. This first series is called "Mohanad Blooms".
